The world seems to be witnessing increasing levels of violence, fear and hatred that challenge us each day. In such times, mercy might seem far-fetched, but mercy matters now more than ever. Mercy does matter, and it's mercy that opens up the door of forgiveness, we all need forgiveness. Mercy is what can join us all together in spite of our differences.

Mercy is so powerful, it’s defined as: compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm! You have the power to inflict punishment, but because of mercy, you showed compassion and forbearance to one who has offended or wronged you, just like we sin and God shows us mercy.

Psalm 103:8 “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy."

God has loves us all with everlasting LOVE and has drawn us all to Him with everlasting kindness. This thing called SEGREGATION is not of God! It’s of the devil! We need to see people through God’s eyes! We should show mercy, compassion, and kindness because we are all made in God’s image!

There is great gain in unity! Segregation is not of God, As a people, our diversity is strength, we should embrace our differences and not let it segregate us, God intentionally made us all differently!

Psalm 86:5 “For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”

We should be ready to forgive people, show them compassion, kindness and love, just as God has shown us. Let mercy have its way in all that you do from henceforth. For, by so doing we change our communities and our society at large.

The benefits of God's mercy include peace, love, joy, and complete fulfillment in life!!

I pray that as you show mercy, the benefits of God will fill you up to overflowing into the lives of others, in Jesus Name. AMEN!
