God has promised us in His Word, that He’ll restore to us all that we have lost in the past, and since we know God is not a liar neither is He a man that will renegade on His promise.

  The story of the Shunamite woman in the Bible is a story of complete & total restoration! There was something that made her stand out for complete and total restoration.

  She saw that there was a need in the life of the man of God that needed to be met, her wanting to meet this need was without a motive, and no hidden agenda. She sees the man of God passing through the community that lives in, frequently and in agreement with her husband, decided to create a lodging room for him in their home. So, he can have a place to rest in his going and coming in the work of the Kingdom.

   When see a need and fulfill the provisions to meet that need as it kingdom relates agendas and plans, God never forgets it. The woman met a kingdom need! and because hs did that, the prophet  asked her, is there something that I can do for you, since you have gone out of your way to meet this need of providing me a guest room as lodging place in your home? She answered, no, not at all! I’m good!! I ‘m among my own people!!

  Then the servantof the prophet told him she is without a child. The prophet now called her and told her that by this time next year, she'll have a son. 

  God gave them a child that they never had. God restored lost years of not enjoying the privilege of child to unto, according the promise in His Word “²⁵And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath  eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. ²⁶And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.”  Joel 2:25-26.

   We don’t need wait to be asked, before meeting needs that has to do kingdom related agenda and expansion on  earth. God already know what need or are lacking in our lives, before we ask Him!

   But, when we step up and meet that, God records it down for us. And His payout is always, as we see in the case of this Shunamite woman, she compensated with that one that was a source of reproach, shame and disgrace. God wiped all those years of reproach away, by blessing with a son! Especially, since the Bible mentioned that, her husband is old in age!

   As things would have it, the devil that only comes to steal, kill, and destroyed came to kill and short live the joy of their having a child. But, by faith the Shunamite woman refused to buy into lies of the devil. She didn't come in agreement with the devil, by speaking what was presently confronting her in the death of her son. She went back to the source - to God, who through His servant had blessed her with a son. 

  And through enough, her child and her joy was restored back to her life. As Believers, we should hold on and stand by faith on the Word of God. For He's not a man that He should lie, if He has said, He's good for it. 

  We're asked not to “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. – Philippians 4:6

  I want to enocurage, every opportunity you have to bless the work of God, meet a kingdom related need or even just be a blessing to the servant and messenger of God, do not waste that opportunity, because it's an opportunity that the LORD God has created for you to be blessed.
