Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry!

We see several things in this Scripture:

There's a vision, there’s a promise, there's a word of prophesy, there's a breakthrough on the horizon, there's an open door, there's a major blessing in the making, there's a favour coming your way that will take you to the next level of promotion, but for all these, there's for an appointed time. Because God works with times and seasons.

It must come to manifestation. It must happen for you. You must receive the promise.

It's appointed not fail. Just like the Word of God shall return empty, it must prosper in that which is sent, is the promise, the healing, the child, the breakthrough, the deliverance, the turnaround.

Though it’s delayed, don’t give up on it, it’s your portion and you must possess it.

Then the icing on the cake says, it shall not tarry. It means though there’s an appointed time for it, it shall not be delayed! It shall not be hindered! It shall not be terminated! It shall not overturned!

But, the sad thing is that, we Believers don’t have the fortitude, the staying power, the conviction to wait for God, so after a while, we just give up and let go of the promise. And this is exactly what the enemy anticipated us doing, because we have become too used to this concept of ‘Drive Through’ in our daily affairs, and so expect the same with God. We want it now, and not later, so most of us lack the fortitude to wait and tarry in the place of prayer like Daniel did waiting for the answer He petitioned the throne of God.

Let's look at some steps to help us not miss the appointed time of God's promise.

We must learn to thank God the Father,  for the promises in His Word for us, and ask Him for the grace to partake of every one of our inheritances in for our lives, Name.

We should ask the Father to empower us with the fortitude and the stamina to wait for the appointed time and not give up, just at the edge of manifestation.

We must cry out to our Father God in Heaven in  prayer, to arise for us, and do not  let the enemy steal, kill, or destroy anything He has prepared for us. Also, asking   Father God, to remember us and bring our dreams and visions to pass, as He did for Joseph.

And as we do these, we shall see the manifestations of God's promises for our lives, because God is faithful to promises in His Word. It's God's wish to see us all flourish and prosper in all areas.

I pray staying power, fortitude and grace upon you to tarry for your appointed time, in Jesus's Name. AMEN!
